The Box Hill Little Athletics Centre invites teams from your Centre to compete in the annual Box Hill LAC Invitation Relay Day. This is traditionally a great day on the Little Aths calendar and we have appreciated your continued support of this event over many years.

DATE Sunday 12th November 2016
VENUE Hagenauers Reserve, Barwon Street, Box Hill North

The program commences at approximately 8:30am and depending on the number of entries, finishes around 6pm. Admission charge will be $3.00 per person with athletes and children U16 free. Food, refreshments etc. can be purchased from our Canteen.

Events will be available in the Under 8 to Under 16 age groups as per the attached entry form and summarized as follows noting we offer U8 4 × 100m Relay events (max 2 teams per Centre) to give next season’s athletes a taste of relay fun.

Note: In the interests of the timetable, it has been decided to continue to omit the MS 4 × 200 from the program. As a compromise, a Club may enter a Mixed Sex team in the Boys 4 × 200 if no “all boys” team is entered.

Entry fees will be $14.00 per team, however please note that final entries cannot be confirmed without payment. We will program U8 & U16 events subject to interest.

Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded and will be presented to each of the 4 members of the team running the final. Additional medals may be purchased if more than 4 runners were involved in a team for heats and finals at a cost of $8 per medal, arranged at the presentation tent towards the centre of the arena.

The EMR Starters will be officiating in respect to all starting procedures. They would welcome any enquiry from those interested in being trained as an official starter with a view to joining their group.

Please complete and return the enclosed entry form (with cheque payable to Box Hill LAC) to the address provided on the entry form following, by Monday 6th November 2016 6:00pm at the latest.

Late entries may be accepted subject to the final program. A late entry fee of $20.00 per team, per event will apply. Late team entries cause considerable delays in finalizing the program and may be refused. Cancellations will not be refunded.

The final program details will be emailed plus posted on our website on the Thursday before the event.

PLEASE NOTE:
All payments, including those from EFT, email or faxed entries, MUST be received prior to the Relay Day.
